V-Day is THE Day!

We are checking in on our new little person on Thursday to make sure (s)he is strong and healthy and to find out whether we're having a (s)he. :)

So exciting!!

I loved Leslie's post on this and the idea that the second baby kind of sets the tone for a house. How cool would it be to have two little girls so close in age? Built-in best friends, right? But having one of each would be awesome, too!

So we are, of course, thrilled either way and primarily praying for a healthy baby.

I was so wrong with Catherine that I'm not venturing any guesses.

And, for posterity, my first "bump" shot at 20 weeks. {Poor, neglected second baby.}

For comparison, 20 weeks with Baby C.

    Oh, Tiffany...you GLOW. What a thrilling , exciting time. What a blessed baby, to be welcomed into your family. My brother and I were 18 months apart, and always very close. When we were pre-schoolers, people often thought that we were twins. But I see from your photo that the alluring Miz C. and Fred, the Bichon King, are ready to welcome all comers.
    Happy days and much joy to you all.

    P.S. This is the time to pray over your baby what the scriptures revealed about John the Baptist: that the baby will be "filled with the Holy Spirit from it's mother's womb."

    1. Thank you! And I'm always so glad to hear success stories of siblings who are close in age. My brother and I are 14 years apart, and there are three years between Jason and his brother. So it's a pretty foreign concept to us!
      And what a great reminder of what to pray--thank you again. :)

    2. Definitely wouldn't say that, but we do have quite a bit of pink under our belt. ;) Girls are awesome! And sister love is a very special thing, too. :) Congrats!

    Oh, but just look at the difference in the expression on your face in the two photos. In Miz. Catherine's you're looking, lovely, happy, and just the tiniest bit nervous. For little "Coming Attraction" Norris you are looking equally lovely, happy... and serenely confident. Isn't it amazing what a year's worth of experience will do for you? ;()

    Happy days, Tiffany.

  4. We didn't find out the gender for Sam, but since we knew we only wanted two kids, finding out Rachel's gender was really important for me. We felt she was setting the tone for our family and so we wanted to know what that tone would be, if that makes any sense.

    Anyways if you are sharing Baby' gender, I am excited to know, but no matter what, I am praying with you for a healthy baby.

    I am hoping V-Day is the day for my little one too. :) With the way things have been going, it is very possible!
