Going to School

Jason has been able to be home with Catherine for her first year, and that has been an incredible blessing!

But it was time for her to branch out a little bit. She generally sleeps through her class at church, so we realized that, apart from the occasional play date, she had virtually no interaction with other kids. We wanted her to learn to play and to share and all that fun stuff! Separation anxiety was still going strong, so we thought this might help with that, too. And, another motivation, now that she's gotten more active and interactive, Jason wasn't able to focus enough on his work during the day.

So it was off to school for our little one!

We're fortunate enough to have a place right on campus, so I can pop over anytime if there is ever a problem. She goes twice a week, and it's been great so far. They tell me she's getting a little less cautious, and she doesn't cry as often when we leave her.

We'll probably take it one semester at a time, but I think it's going to be a good spring for our girl.

That looks like a very happy little baby girl to me. And another sweet pink sweater. Was this one a b.d. gift from her Great Aunt, as well?
Happy days , Mom, your baby's growing up.

    1. Yes, the pink sweater was another gift! I'm going to have to try again for a photo shoot on both of them because they're so cute. (Maybe when she's sleeping? ha)

  2. That sounds like fun for her! How amazing that your husband was able to be home with her for her first year. What a special bond they must have.

My husband was home with Sam when I went back to work part-time and I was so happy we were able to work that out.

    1. Oh, they are good pals! It was a high priority for one of us to be able to be home with the little people if at all possible.
