She sat with Grandpa for just a few minutes {thanks to the bottle}...
...but mostly smiled from a distance.
She warmed up just a bit by the time we got to see Grams and Pa-Pa...
And was friendly for just a minute with Aunt Ruth.
She really loved {and still loves} playing with the music machine from Grandpa and Curly. She'll put up her hands and "dance," which is pretty awesome.
And she {and I!} got to meet the Woodseys. These were her dad's and uncle's favorite toys when they were little, and I have heard many a Woodsey tale. I told Jason I felt like I was meeting celebrities.
{And, no, she never wears socks, no matter how cold it is. Little gal refuses to keep them on her feet.}
Another hit was Uncle Ryan's basketball, which she played with more than her own toys, I think. {WNBA in the future?} ;)
She also perfected the art of standing up {with a prop}. Sorry the picture is blurry, but she's not ever still these days! {I've also neglected to read our new camera's manual, so I'm just frantically pointing and shooting most of the time.}
Our little girl's very first Christmas! So exciting!
Just Precious.

Thank you!
DeleteI'm glad she went to other people long enough for pictures! Ha ha ha! And I love that she never keeps socks on. Me -- I'm a sock AND slipper kind of girl.
ReplyDeleteI know! Her feet are always freezing, but she is stubborn!
DeleteAdorable.
